ST.-PETERSBURG, January 19 - RAPSI. A commercial court has fully satisfied the Foreign Economic Bank's lawsuit against five investment companies to recover $7.8 million in debt under a loan agreement to finance a housing project in Tatarstan, according to the court records posted on the Supreme Commercial Court's website.

The St. Petersburg Commercial Court will consider a similar lawsuit on Thursday, now for 189.3 million rubles ($6 million). On February 20, it will hear two more claims against Tatarstan companies worth 596.4 million rubles ($18.9 million). A group of Tatarstan companies contemplated constructing the Krasnye Chelny residential neighborhood with 127 square meters of housing and relevant commercial development worth 3.77 billion rubles ($119.5 million). Svayaz-bank was one of its finance providers.
