An appeals court has dismissed the appeal filed by the Federal Air Transport Agency against the court decision to cancel the agency's order to Domodedovo Airport to enhance security following the terrorist attack in January 2011, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI/rapsinews.com).
The Federal Air Transport Agency ordered Domodedovo to inspect all people entering the airport, assess the vulnerability level of the airport facilities and transport means as well as to develop a transport security plan.
The bomb exploded in Domodedovo on January 24, 2011, killing 37 people. Over 100 people got injuries.
