MOSCOW, February 20 - RAPSI. The patent disputes chamber has sided with TV Daryal in its request for an early termination of the "Red Pepper" and "Peppers" trademarks protection, the chamber reports.
According to the report the patent authority registered the "Red Pepper" trademark as held by Moscow Construction Company and "Peppers" as owned by PK Monolyth.
TV Daryal applied to the regulator for an early termination of their protection as the trademarks were out of use for quite a long time.
The trademarks holders were notified of the chamber meeting, but they failed either to respond to the notice or appear before the chamber's board.
The decision also stressed that TV Daryal had applied for the registration of similar trademarks, while the trademarks may prevent their registration with respect to same category goods.
TV Daryal has been broadcasting since June 7, 1999. From 2007 it was renamed as DTV and from October 17, 2011 - Pepper.
