MOSCOW, March 15 - RAPSI. Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev's wife has sued him over his $88 million purchase of a penthouse in downtown New York, the Daily News reports on Thursday.

Yelena Rybolovleva, who resides in Switzerland, maintains that her husband has purchased the apartment through a shell company, although the Geneva court imposed a provisional freeze on his shares and assets until the divorce proceedings are over.

In December, a representative of Rybolovlev's daughter told the PRIME business news agency that the condominium was purchased by a company associated with her.

The lawsuit was filed with the New York State Supreme Court.

PRIME has yet to obtain comments from Rybolovlev.

Rybolovleva earlier managed to seize her husband's house in Palm Beach, Florida worth $95 million, as well as his yachts and art collections.
