MOSCOW, March 15 - RAPSI. Opposition leader Sergei Udaltsov has been placed in custody for 10 days on Thursday. He was detained after a March 10 rally.
The court found Udaltsov guilty of disobeying the police.
When reading the decision, the court noted that Udaltsov has already been brought to responsibility for similar violations this year.
On March 10, downtown Moscow hosted a rally with over 10,000 participants.
According to the Interior Ministry, a group of citizens led by Udaltsov tried to arrange an unauthorized procession after the event.
The second protest rally held after the March 4 presidential elections ended with detentions like the first one.
