KRASNOYARSK, March 28 - RAPSI. The Krasnoyarsk Territory Commercial Court will hear on April 25 the lawsuit filed by Interregional Distributive Grid Company of Siberia (IDGC of Siberia) against the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
IDGC is seeking to recover 4.607 billion rubles ($159.1 million) in compensation for losses.
The lawsuit was filed on February 9. In its statement of claim the company seeks to offset losses it sustained following the order on uniform electric energy transmission tariff for 2011 issued by the Krasnoyarsk Territory's regional energy commission on December 15, 2010.
The IDGC of Siberia earlier told RAPSI that the Krasnoyarsk Territory Commercial Court declared the 2011 tariffs invalid on December 29, 2011. The company ultimately lost 4.6 billion rubles ($159 million) due to these tariffs in 2011.
The IDGC of Siberia is the daughter company of IDGC Holding. It is the largest electrical power supplier in the Siberian Federal District.
