MOSCOW, March 28 - RAPSI. The Federal Antimonopoly Service will soon consider the fine amount to be imposed on the Metro Cash & Carry retail chain, which has been found guilty of breaking trade law, the service's representative Timofey Nizhegorodtsev said.
"The decision regarding Metro has already been passed, and we are now waiting for the administrative fine to be set. I think the fine amount will be impressive and will send a clear message to the market that it is careless to assume that the law does not work," he said.
In November, Metro Cash & Carry was found guilty of violating a trade law after it pegged marketing costs to supplier turnover.
