MOSCOW, April 5 - RAPSI. Minority shareholders of the Territorial Generating Company-2 filed a lawsuit against the company for withholding information about candidates nominated to its board of directors.
Minority shareholders complain about being kept unaware of whether their representatives were on the candidates list, Prosperity Capital Management's representative Denis Spirin told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI).
Minority shareholders requested the list of candidates to the board in early March, but the company ignored it although it ought to respond within seven days, Spirin said.
Prosperity Capital Management filed a lawsuit with the Yaroslavl Region Commercial Court. The preliminary hearing was set for June 1.
In 2011 utility's minority shareholders already had troubles when they nominating their candidates to the board.
