ST. PETERSBURG, May 14 - RAPSI. Karelian human rights activist and blogger Maxim Efimov will appeal the court decision to send him for a psychiatric examination in the case against him on charges of initiating hatred and animosity, his attorney Olga Rybalova told RIA Novosti.
Last week, the court satisfied the investigation's appeal to send him for the examination.
Efimov, the youth group head, is suspected of humiliating individuals on religious grounds.
The case concerns his article, "Karelia tired of monks," which supposedly damaged the feelings of various believers, according to the Investigative Committee.
Investigators added that another examination may be held by specialists from another region.
