MOSCOW, June 7 -RAPSI. The Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Regional Commercial Court has registered a bankruptcy petition against UTair Airline, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency on Thursday.
The bankruptcy petition was lodged by Avialeasing Investment and Financial Company. The court registered the petition on June 4. Its hearing date has yet to be scheduled.
The commercial courts have already heard dozens of claims from Avialeasing against UTair.
UTair is a leading Russian airline and the second largest domestic carrier. The UTair Group comprises UTair Aviation, UTair Express, UTair-Ukraine, UTair-Cargo, Nefteyugansk OAO, Helisur, UTair Europe s.r.o., and UTair South Africa (Pty) Ltd. UTair's fleet has 184 aircrafts.
