ST.-PETERSBURG, June 25 - RAPSI. Gay rights activist Nikolai Alexeyev has promptly filed another defamation lawsuit against St. Petersburg lawmaker Vitaly Milonov after his second claim was dismissed.
“The lawsuit has been turned down. The statement of motivation will be ready in five days and as soon as we read it we will contest the judgment,” Alexeyev told RIA Novosti.
In April, the court rejected his first lawsuit against the local lawmaker. The action centered on Milonov’s allegations that the activist is financed from abroad. Additionally, Milinov called Alexeyev a girl.
Later, Alexeyev sued Milonov for calling him a “woman” in a TV interview. The lawsuit was also dismissed.
On Monday, Alexeyev filed another action.
“Today, I have filed the third lawsuit on his statements made at the Legislative Assembly last Friday. This concerns him calling me bodacious,” Alexeyev said.
