MOSCOW, July 10 - RAPSI. The Tverskoy District Court rescheduled for July 19 its hearing of the second case over the riots on Manezh Square in Moscow in December 2010.The delay was necessitated by the absence of a number of parties to the trial.
The court was expected to come over from evidence presentation by the defense to the defendants interrogation.
Earlier, the first suspect Nikolay Dvoynyakov pleaded not guilty of inciting mass riots and said he was alone on the square.
The second suspect Vladimir Kirpichnikov refused to plead guilty of inciting riots and social hatred. He pleaded partially guilty of hooliganism and threatening to use force against law enforcement officers.
Two other suspects Vitaly Vasin and Grigory Bilchenko, who have been released on their own recognizance, partially pleaded guilty of hooliganism, although they denied that they threatened the riot police officers on the square.
The prosecutor also mentioned the five individuals convicted in the first criminal case over the riots on Manezh Square.
According to the prosecution, the suspects in both cases committed nearly all of the violations together.
According to the prosecution, as many as 5,000 football fans and nationalists caused public unrest on December 11, 2010 in Moscow after a rally to commemorate FC Spartak fan Yegor Sviridov, who was shot dead on December 6, 2010. Thirty-two people were injured in the riots.
