MOSCOW, July 18 - RAPSI. Since early 2012, court bailiffs have seized nearly 30,000 weapons from court visitors, the Federal Service of Court Bailiffs reports on Wednesday.
Bailiffs have seized over 10,000 fire arms, 10,400 gas and traumatic weapons, 7,400 cold weapons and 981 electrical shockers. Some 37 people have been detained and transferred to law enforcement authorities, according to the watchdog.
Traumatic weapons is an informal definition of self-defense weapon that uses non-lethal ammo.
The watchdog also reported that bailiffs have provided security to all 132 commercial courts and 2,850 general jurisdiction courts.
