MOSCOW, August 10 - RAPSI. An agreement between the Russian and Polish justice ministries forging simplified commercial court cooperation came into effect on July 17, the Supreme Commercial Court said on Friday.
The court said the agreement establishes a simplified procedure for cooperation between Russian and Polish commercial courts in the framework of providing legal aid. When considering cases involving Polish individuals and legal entities, set up under Poland's legislation, Russian commercial courts will now submit orders on the provision of legal aid to Polish district courts, which will be further transferred to local courts competent to execute the order, rather than through the Russian Justice Ministry's territorial bodies, the court said.
The agreement's full text has been posted on the court's website in Russian and Polish.
