MOSCOW, August 20 - RAPSI. The Interior Ministry's Moscow Main Investigative Department is investigating a criminal case against the accomplices in the Pussy Riot case, it told RIA Novosti on Monday. Last week, the Kamovnichesky District Court sentenced three Pussy Riot members to two years in prison.
"The case of the convicted offenders' accomplices is being investigated separately," the department said. "A search is underway."
On February 21, the masked punk rock group entered the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow and came close to the altar, which is forbidden. They switched on their sound equipment and performed what they referred to as a "punk prayer." A video was later posted online and caused a public outcry.
