NIZHNY NOVGOROD, September 4 - RAPSI. Chechnya resident Zara Murtazaliyeva, who was convicted to 8.5 years in prison in 2005 for preparing a terrorist attack at a Moscow trade center, has been released from Penal Colony No.13 in Mordovia, the Federal Penitentiary Service's Main Department in the republic told RIA Novosti.

Murtazaliyeva, 21, was detained by police in Moscow in March 2004 with 196 grams of plastic explosives.

According to the investigation, she underwent training at a suicide attack camp and then went to Moscow to organize terrorist attacks. She recruited two Muslim Moscow residents.

In January 2005, the Moscow City Court sentenced Murtazaliyeva to nine years in prison. She was found guilty of preparing a bomb attack, involving other individuals in committing the attack, and illegally acquiring and maintaining explosive devices.

On March 17, the Supreme Court reduced her sentence by six months.
