MOSCOW, November 16 - RAPSI. The Moscow Commercial Court has dismissed Aeroflot shareholder Igor Shilovsky's lawsuit in which he sought to be provided with information on the company's procurement activities in 2012, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI/rapsinews.com).

Shilovsky, who holds less than one percent of shares in the company, submitted a request to the defendant for information on the guidelines the company followed when making purchases before a provision on procurement activities was approved.

During the preliminary hearings, the defendant's lawyer said that the airline had met Shilovsky's requests and had provided him with the information he wanted. Furthermore, he added, all this information had been published online in the public domain.

Shilovsky, however, said that the company had not provided him with all the information he requested.

Aeroflot is a member of the global SkyTeam alliance and is based at Sheremetyevo airport in Moscow. In 2011, Aeroflot transported over 14 million passengers. The Federal Agency for State Property Management is Aeroflots main shareholder, with a 51.17 percent stake; around 15 percent is held by entities owned by businessman Alexander Lebedev.
