MOSCOW, December 11 - RAPSI. The court has upheld 860 lawsuits by the WDB Bank's bankruptcy receiver, the Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) to recover 2.3 billion rubles ($75 million) from its debtors, DIA reported.

The bank's bankruptcy receiver submitted over 1,000 lawsuits to recover 3.3 billion rubles ($107 million) in debt from the debtors.

The Saratov Region Commercial Court upheld the Deposit Insurance Agency's application in September to extend the bankruptcy proceedings until February 26, 2013.

The Central Bank revoked WDB Bank's license on May 7, 2009 for falsifying reports, as well as reducing its capital adequacy below two percent and its own capitalization below the required minimum.
