MOSCOW, January 23 (RAPSI) – Gagarinsky District Court of Moscow on Thursday started hearing the claim filed by a Pussy Riot member Yekaterina Samustevich against her former attorney Nikolai Polozov, which was postponed as Samustveich adjusted the claim to 3 million rubles.

Earlier, the Pussy Riot member filed a defamation lawsuit for 1,5 million rubles.  “Now the compensation will amount to 3 million rubles ($88,000), as I discovered that the defamatory posts were published not only on his LiveJournal and social networking accounts, but the Echo of Moscow blog host as well,” Samutsevich told RAPSI.

Samutsevich also seeks 1 million rubles ($30,000) from attorney Alisa Obraztsova. According to Polozov, Samutsevich demands refutation of materials about Pussy Riot, that were published in his LiveJournal citing the US media portal The Daily Beast, as well as several remarks in social networks.
