MOSCOW, April 21 (RAPSI) – American CITC company has filed a lawsuit with the Illinois court against Russian aluminum giant Rusal concerning contractual obligations breach, according to court documents obtained by RAPSI on Monday.
According to CITC claim, the company signed contracts with Rusal Frigua (Rusal F) and West Indies Alumina Co (WIAC) on the supply of spare parts for drilling and excavation machinery. CITC maintains that the contract was completed in full, but the Rusal subsidiaries did not pay for supplies. According to CITC, the reason was the interference of Rusal as the head company.
CICT demands a compensation of $454,800 from Rusal with coverage of legal fees in addition.
