MOSCOW, May 19 (RAPSI, Sergei Feklyunin) - The Moscow Commercial Court will consider a lawsuit filed by state building corporation Olympstroy demanding 3,376 billion rubles ($97 million) from Russian gas giant Gazprom on July 9, the court’s spokesperson told RAPSI.
The source did not clarify the lawsuit grounds.
Gazprom has been fully engaged in the construction of the Olympic venues in Sochi. In particular, the company has financed the construction of the Skiing and biathlon complex and gas line to the Rosa Khutor Alpine Resort.
Olympstroy State Corporation was established to manage and supervise sports facilities design and construction for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
The XXII Olympic Winter Games took place from 7 to 23 February 2014.
