MOSCOW, March 16 (RAPSI, Diana Gutsul) - The Central District Court in Kaliningrad began hearing a criminal case against three activists charged with mounting a German flag on a Federal Security Service (FSB) building in Kaliningrad, Dmitry Dinze, a lawyer for one of the defendants told RAPSI on Monday.
The lawyer reported that the defendants expressed their views of the charges. Mikhail Feldman and Oleg Savvin claimed that they didn’t understand the nature of the accusations and didn’t agree with them. Dmitry Fonaryov partially admitted his guilt but not specified any other details.
On March 24, the court will begin interrogating the defendants, Dinze added.
According to investigators, the activists are charged with vandalism based on political hatred and hatred against a social group. The incident took place in March 2014.
