MOSCOW, May 26 (RAPSI) – Arstidas Tamosaitis, a Lithuanian citizen suspected of espionage in Russia, has filed an appeal against his detention, press secretary for Moscow’s Lefortovsky District Court Yulia Skotnikova told RAPSI on Tuesday.
On May 20, the court ordered the detention of Arstidas Tamosaitis until July 20.
An alleged spy was arrested in Moscow by the Federal Security Service (FSB) while getting a confidential document from an unidentified Russian national.
According to the FSB, the foreigner confessed that he is an officer of Lithuania's military intelligence.
