MOSCOW, April 11 (RAPSI) - Russian organizer of concerts of Eros Ramazzotti, Global Communications, filed a lawsuit with the Moscow Commercial Court seeking to collect 121.3 million rubles ($1.8 million) from the Italian company Radiorama representing the singer’s interests, RAPSI learnt in the court on Monday.

The hearing date has not been set yet.

The company filed the claim following Eros Ramazzotti tour’s cancellation in Russia. Particularly, concerts in Moscow were scheduled for April 2 and 3, 2016.

Maurizio Salvadori, President of Trident Music, Italian organizer of Eros Ramazzotti world tour, stated that the performances have been cancelled because Global Communications repeatedly violated contractual obligations. Trident Music made concessions to the Russian company and signed two agreements on payment adjourning. However, the contracted fee has not been paid to the singer, according to Salvadori.
