MOSCOW, December 13 (RAPSI) – Lithuanian citizen who tried to transfer over 28 kilograms of ecstasy drug into Russia was found guilty and received a lengthy prison term, the Prosecutor General’s Office announced on Tuesday.
According to investigators, the convict tried to bring 43 packages of ecstasy drug weighting over 28 kilograms to the Pskov Region through the customs service. Investigators believe that he was planning to sell drugs in Russia. Ecstasy was found in the convict’s car.
The Pskov Regional Court sentenced 60 years-old criminal to 9.5 years in a high-security penal colony.
