MOSCOW, March 22 (RAPSI, Diana Gutsul) – Russia’s investigating authorities will seek detention of Andrey Kaminov, director of state-run enterprise Atecks, and his alleged accomplices, who are suspected of multi-million embezzlement related to the construction of the Presidential residence in Novo-Ogaryevo in 2012 through 2015, the Russia’s Investigative Committee informs on Wednesday.
The Russia’s Investigative Committee has initiated and is currently investigating a criminal case against a criminal gang over a large-scale embezzlement of state funds allocated for the execution of various construction projects of federal importance. The total estimated loss suffered by the state as a result makes no less than 225 million rubles (about $4 million), according to a Committee’s representative.
Alongside Kaminov, Atecks’ former first deputy director Stanislav Kyuner, Dmitry Torchinsky, Sergey Litvinov, Sergey Perevalov, and Alexander Rodionov have been also arrested in the case investigated by the Committee in collaboration with the Federal Security Service (FSB) and the Federal Guard Service (FSO).
