MOSCOW, June 13 (RAPSI, Diana Gutsul) – The Simonovsky District Court of Moscow has detained Russian opposition politician Alexey Navalny for 30 days for administrative violation, RAPSI learnt from the court’s press-service on Tuesday.

Navalny was found guilty of violating rally organization rules specified in the Russian Code of Administrative Offences.

Earlier, Navalny has agreed with the city's authorities a rally at Academician Sakharov Avenue in Moscow on June 12. However, shortly before the beginning of the rally he asked his supporters to change rally location to Tverskaya Street in central Moscow. On Monday, he was arrested by the police.
