MOSCOW, September 22 (RAPSI) – Russia’s Higher Qualifications Board of Judges has given consent to bringing charges against the Moscow City Court’s Judge Alexander Molchanov in a fatal road accident case, RAPSI learnt in the board on Friday.
A request for the Board’s consent to involve the judge as a defendant in the case was filed by the Investigative Committee’s Chairman Alexander Bastrykin. According to investigators, Molchanov has broken the rules of the road and vehicle operation that led to a victim’s death.
Alexander Molchanov is a judge of appeals instance for criminal cases, the Moscow City Court’s website reads.
