MOSCOW, October 23 (RAPSI) – A criminal case against a Kyrgyz citizen, who had allegedly plotted terrorist attacks in Russia, was forwarded to the Moscow District Military Court for hearing, the press service of the Kirov region’s prosecutor’s office reported Monday.
The man has been charged with justifying terrorism, attempted facilitating a terrorist activity, and preparing a terrorist attack.
According to investigators, the Kyrgyz national being a member of an international terrorist organization banned in Russia posted images containing linguistic and psychological features of inciting hatred and enmity towards representatives of another social group on his VKontakte page in 2016.
In 2017, the defendant attempted to induce two residents of the Kirov Region on the Internet to carry out terrorist attacks in Moscow. Among others, the man planned to run over people by a lorry.
