MOSCOW, November 27 (RAPSI) – Moscow with the exponent of 949 crimes per 100,000 people has been ranked 66th in the crime rating including 85 territorial entities of the Russian Federation, the Prosecutor General’s Office reports through its Telegram channel on Monday.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office’s spokesperson Alexander Kurennoy, over 117,000 crimes were recorded within 10 months of 2017. The number of crimes registered in Moscow during this period dropped by 21%, Kurennoy said.
The most criminal territories in Russia are republics of Tyva and Buryatia, the Zabaikalye Territory, the Sakhalin and the Amur regions, the Prosecutor General’s Office’s statement reads.
