MOSCOW, January 22 (RAPSI) – The Moscow City Court on Monday upheld a lower court’s ruling to fine opposition politician Ilya Yashin 30,000 rubles ($530) for violating the order of organizing mass rallies, the court’s press service told RAPSI.

The ruling has become effective.

Yashin organized a rally in Moscow in December 2017. A court declared the public event illegal. Yashin was found guilty of organizing an unauthorized action and received the fine.
