MOSCOW, March 29 (RAPSI) – Law enforcement officers have arrested deputy head of Russia’s Ministry of Emergencies Directorate for the Buryatia Republic Dmitry Unagayev suspected of taking bribes for cover-up during examination of fire safety, the press-service of the regional Investigative Committee department has stated.
Investigators believe that Unagayev has received 177,000 rubles ($3,000) from an intermediary for providing support in business matters related to fire safety.
An alleged intermediary has already been placed in detention.
