MOSCOW, July 4 (RAPSI) – Moscow’s Tushinsky District Court on Wednesday fined the British football fan Rufus Edward Hall 3,000 rubles ($47) for vandalizing a monument at the Spartak Stadium, the court’s press service told RAPSI.
Hall was found guilty of violating the rules of conduct during official sporting contests. However, the court did not prohibit the fan from attending sporting events.
According to the police, Hall daubed the monument to Spartak Moscow’s player Fyodor Cherenkov with ‘England’ in red letters on Tuesday evening before a football match between Colombia and England.
