MOSCOW, August 6 (RAPSI) – Subsidiaries of Russia’s largest bank Sberbank have filed claims with the Commercial Court of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region seeking to include 2.7 billion rubles ($42.5 million) in the Ulmart e-commerce giant’s creditors’ list, the court documents read.

The court will review the motion of the Sberbank Factoring on October 11 while the motion of Sberbank Russia was postponed until September 3.

On June 21, the Thirteenth Commercial Court of Appeals has recovered over 1 billion rubles (about $16 million) from three subsidiaries of giant Ulmart in favor of Sberbank. The court thus granted the bank’s claim to collect debt under a loan contract.

On July 5, the court initiated a monitoring procedure against Ulmart on the request of BigBox company, which seeks 100 million rubles ($1.5 million) from the retailer.

Ulmart group of companies is the largest Russian private Internet holding focusing on e-commerce segment. The company’s distribution network consists of over 400 sales outlets across more than 240 Russian cities and towns.
