MOSCOW, December 20 (RAPSI) – The Commercial Court of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region has granted claims filed by three banks seeking to include a debt of Ulmart Food Shopping Company, a subsidiary of the Internet retailer Ulmart, worth over 1.4 billion rubles (about $21 million) in a list of creditors, according to court records.
Bank Uralsib demands 686.7 million rubles, Globex bank seeks 437.1 million rubles and Credit Europe Bank wants to collect 302.3 million rubles from the debtor.
On August 22, the commercial court introduced a monitoring procedure in relation to the e-commerce giant’s subsidiary on the request of BigBox company.
Ulmart group of companies is the largest Russian private Internet holding focusing on e-commerce segment. The company’s distribution network consists of over 400 sales outlets across more than 240 Russian cities and towns.
