MOSCOW, February 1 (RAPSI) – Russian national Artem Antonov charged with producing, keeping and using counterfeit has been extradited from Lithuania, the press service of Russia’s Prosecutor General’s Office reports Friday.
According to investigators, in February 2015, the defendant acting within an organized group in Voronezh produced at least 32 high-grade forged payment cards.
Antonov used these cards from December 2015 to January 2016 in the Republic of Belarus, but all the cards were caught by cash dispensers and brought to the law enforcement attention.
The accused has been put on the international wanted list. Later, he has been arrested in Lithuania.
