MOSCOW, February 13 (RAPSI) – Director of Russia’s Glavpiar PR company Oleg Voronin has filed a lawsuit against Adidas sports giant demanding 200,000 rubles ($3,000) for moral harm allegedly caused by controversial Reebok advertisement. RAPSI has obtained a copy of the document.
Reebok, a subsidiary of German sports giant Adidas, has released the ads imaging a feminist calling to “change seat from a needle of men’s favouring to men’s face”, the lawsuit reads. According to the plaintiff, such concepts taint the image of PR and reduce the number of potential customers.
Voronin also claims that he received emotional distress when he saw the advertisement.
He urges Adidas to submit apologies and seeks compensation for moral damage.
The lawsuit has been lodged with Moscow's Kuntsevsky District Court.
