MOSCOW, April 23 (RAPSI) – A Russian citizen, who had sold counterfeit goods having emblems of the CSKA football club, received a 6-month suspended sentence, a statement published by the football club’s press service reads.
Moscow’s Savelovsky District Court held that the defendant illegally used the trademark and therefore caused a serios damage to the victim in the case.
According to investigators, last summer, the man conspired with another person to counterfeit the CSKA emblems and to sell the relevant goods.
A criminal case was opened in October 2018. The defendants produced 165 sports clothing sets for adults and 100 sets for children as well as other goods with the football club emblems.
