MOSCOW, April 30 (RAPSI) – The Moscow Commercial Court has dismissed a 943-million-ruble ($14.6 million) claim of outdoor advertising operator TRK against the Moscow Government’s Department of Mass Media and Advertising, the court’s records read on Tuesday.

Earlier this April, the court dismissed two other TRK claims against the Department amounting to over one billion rubles (about $15.5 million at the current exchange rate) and 710 million rubles (about $11 millon).

In June 2018, the Moscow District Commercial Court upheld a lower court’s ruling dismissing a 252-million-ruble (about $4 million) claim of the Moscow Government’s Department of Mass Media and Advertising against TRK. At that time, the court said the claimant failed to present evidence of repaying the defendant its security deposit and prove that TRK defaulted on its obligations to disassemble advertising structures.

In January 2017, the Department informed TRK that it terminated contracts giving the latter the right to construct and use outdoor advertising structures citing the company’s failure to timely make its payments.
