MOSCOW, June 25 (RAPSI, Kirill Ryabchikov) – The Moscow City Court on Tuesday found Polish citizen Marian Radzaevsky guilty of espionage and sentenced him to 14 years behind bars, RAPSI reported from the courtroom.
The trial was held behind closed doors as the case was classified.
According to the investigation, Radzaevsky, speaking Russian fluently, has tried to organize trafficking of confidential information military-technical products from Russia to Poland. He was arrested on April 20, 2018, while attempting to purchase parts of the S-300 surface-to-air missile system to next transport of the components to Poland.
It was found that the defendant operated in the interest of a Polish organization specialized in arms delivery to the army and special forces.
