MOSCOW, August 12 (RAPSI) – A court in Rostov-on-Don in South Russia will consider a criminal case over abuse of office and negligence against the principal city architect Roman Ilyugin, the Investigative Committee’s press service reports.
According to the investigation, from 2011 to 2017, the accused failed to reveal and suppress breaches of land and town-planning legislation by developers performing unauthorized construction of multiple family dwellings at 12 addresses in target areas allocated for the individual residential development.
Investigators claim that Ilyugin illegally issued consent to build 2 buildings, one of which was to be constructed by the on the money of housing equity holders; but the funds were stolen.
