MOSCOW, August 13 (RAPSI) – Investigators are going to file a motion with court to place activist Konstantin Kotov arrested on allegations of repeated violations of the rally holding order, in detention, the Investigative Committee’s press service reports Tuesday.

Kotov was arrested when attempted to escape and transferred to the Moscow investigative department of the Main Investigations Directorate, the statement reads.

According to investigators, the man, who was repeatedly brought to administrative liability for breaking an order of public events in the last 180 days, recently took part in an unauthorized protest action ignoring police demands to stop illegal actions.

Investigative authorities believe that his actions have an intentional nature.
