MOSCOW, August 26 (RAPSI) – Tsentralnoye Obshchestvo company, (Tsentralnoye Strakhovoye Obshchestovo prior to August 9), the license of which was withdrawn and which is in the process of bankruptcy, seeks to claim 611.9 million rubles ($9.3 million) from the Interior Ministry, according to the Moscow Commercial Court.
Earlier, the Interior Ministry has made a public contract with the company as to insure life and health of its officers.
However, in 2018 the Bank of Russia withdrew the company’s insurance license. Later, the temporary administration of Tsentralnoye Strakhovoye Obshchestvo turned to courts seeking recognition of the company’s bankruptcy. This April, a commercial court dismissed the respective petition.
This August the Commercial Court of the Moscow Region stayed the bankruptcy proceedings with respect of the company.
