MOSCOW, September 10 (RAPSI) – Investigators are petitioning for the arrest of ex-owners of Promsvyazbank Alexey Ananyev and Dmitry Ananyev in absentia, the spokesperson of Moscow’s Basmanny District Court Yunona Tsareva told RAPSI on Tuesday.

According to the court’s representative the brothers are accused of large-scale embezzlement.

In May, the Moscow Commercial Court granted the bank’s claim to seize their assets amounting to 282.2 billion rubles, including 12 land plots, 4 buildings, 2 apartments, a cottage, 5 cars and 7 paintings.

The Central Bank of Russia appointed temporary administration in the bank on December 15, 2017.
