MOSCOW, November 13 (RAPSI) – The Investigative Committee has filed a petition for detention of Alexey Veresov, one of the defendants in a case over murder threats against a judge of the Moscow City Court, RAPSI has learnt from the press service of the Basmanny District Court.

Investigators want Veresov to be detained until January 11.

The man was charged with online calls for extremism. He pleaded guilty.

Ex-convict Veresov was earlier transferred to the Investigative Committee from Russias’ Republic of Udmurtia and questioned. 

Veresov, born 1973, has been arrested along with other man Sergey Polovets, born 1978.
