MOSCOW, November 18 (RAPSI) – Moscow’s Basmanny District Court has issued an arrest warrant in absentia for Kureyshi Kartoyev, an alleged murderer of the chief of Ingushetia Republic’s Centre for Combating Extremism of the Interior Ministry Ibragim Eldzharkiyev, the court’s spokesperson Yunona Tsareva has told RAPSI.

The hearing has been held behind closed doors.

Kartoyev also stands charge with illegal arms trafficking.

On November 2, Eldzharkiyev and his brother were shot dead in Moscow. A killer fled the crime scene.
