MOSCOW, November 27 (RAPSI) – Russia’s Rights Commissioner Tatiana Moskalkova has checked the confinement conditions of Russian citizen Andrey Razgildeyev, detained in Armenia on charges of murdering a local woman, a statement on the Ombudsman’s Instagram reads on Wednesday.

In Armenian town of Gyumri the Rights Commissioner accompanied by Arman Tatoyan, the Armenian Ombudsman, visited a Russian military base, where Razgildeyev is confined in guardhouse.

Both Ombudsmen interviewed Razgildeyev and had a talk with his lawyer, the young man had no complaints as to the conditions of his detention, but said he could not read all case materials, because some of them were not in Russian.

Razgildeyev does not admit guilt.

Moskalkova is in Armenia on a working visit; before going to Gyumri she has taken part in an international conference on the 15th anniversary of the Ombudsman institution in Armenia.
