MOSCOW, March 12 (RAPSI) – Russia’s Sberbank has filed a bankruptcy petition against the St. Petersburg metro construction company Metrostroy, according to the records of the Commercial Coun of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region.

The application is scheduled for June 8.

In February, the court initiated a monitoring procedure against the contractor.

Earlier, several companies filed for bankruptcy of Metrostroy. In June 2019, the court dismissed the claim of Ariel Metall without prejudice because the applicated withdrew its demands.

In February 2019, the court quashed proceedings on a similar petition lodged by the Federal Tax Service due to an amicable agreement concluded by the parties.
