MOSCOW, March 30 (RAPSI) – Investigators have initiated a check over the online distribution of video containing false information on the restrictive measures against coronavirus in Moscow, the Investigative Committee’s press service reports.

As part of the check, investigators are to identify a person who recorded and distributed the fake, the statement reads.

According to the preliminary information, on March 26, a user of one of the video hosting platforms published video containing misrepresentations of the preventive measures against coronavirus and the means of their ensurance. Investigators believe that author wanted to incite mass panic in Moscow.
