MOSCOW, April 20 (RAPSI) – Russia’s Investigative Committee is to monitor distant learning videos demonstrating records of humiliation and so called pranks with respect to teachers, the body’s press-service informs on Monday.
Investigators are to work in cooperation with the Ministry of Education in order to monitor such destructive materials so they be able to identify all persons involved in the dissemination thereof and make legal evaluation of the actions on the part of such persons as to the fact if they constituted criminally punishable offences, the statement reads.
The Committee is concerned by the fact that videos demonstrating humiliation of teachers have been published more frequent recently.
The body reminds that acts of this nature not only negatively affect the educational process, but may also have legal consequences for the perpetrators, who may be hold criminally liable for their actions.
